Kepler_L2 stated on the AnandTech forum that the AT2 will be the only new GPU released in 2027, with other new products from AMD and Nvidia delayed until 2028. According to this claim, AMD's next generation will start with mid-range models rather than launching flagship chips first.
He stated on the AnandTech forums: "The AT2 is the only GPU scheduled for release next year. All other products from AMD and Nvidia won't launch until 2028."
The AT2 is reportedly the codename for the Xbox Project Helix GPU, with the console already scheduled for release in 2027. Therefore, the arrival of at least one new AMD GPU next year isn't exactly news. The real scoop is that if Kepler's prediction holds true, this will be the only new GPU we'll see next year, especially considering it's not expected to be the most powerful model in AMD's next-generation lineup.
AMD has not issued any official statement on this matter, but rumors have long circulated about an AMD GPU named AT0 ("Alpha Triton 0") featuring 96 Compute Units (CUs), designed to compete with Nvidia's RTX 6080-class GPUs. If Kepler's recent statements are accurate, it appears AMD will leverage the game console launch to introduce its mid-range GPU first.

However, Kepler's wording was somewhat ambiguous, making it unclear whether Nvidia will release Super variants of existing GPUs, as Super versions are not considered "brand new" GPUs. Reports indicate that plans for these Super variants have been canceled.
