Build A Rocket Boy, the developer of "Mind's Eye," is suspected to have gone bankrupt. According to several employees, the studio has laid off all remaining staff as of today.
Senior VFX Artist Jason Waller posted that Build A Rocket Boy studio has officially closed today. Lead Weapon Artist Adam Ridsdale also shared similar news, confirming that all staff have left the studio.
"Mind's Eye" was released last year. The game garnered some attention mainly due to the involvement of former Rockstar president Leslie Benzies. It was also the first game developed by Build A Rocket Boy.
With GTA also on the horizon, the entire gaming industry's focus is on Rockstar's upcoming open-world adventure game, and "Mind's Eye" will be completely forgotten by players.
"Mind's Eye" was released in June 2025 and received "Overwhelmingly Negative" reviews in Simplified Chinese on Steam.
