Microsoft recently announced the final PC system requirements for Gears of War: E-Day. All configuration tiers require 115GB of SSD space, allowing players to check and organize their device storage in advance.
To run the game, PC players will need at least an AMD Ryzen 5 2600X or Intel Core i7‑6850K/i5‑10400 processor, along with an NVIDIA RTX 5050, RTX 2060, AMD RX 6600, AMD RX 9060, or Intel A580 graphics card. You'll also need 115GB of available disk space and 12GB of RAM. With this PC configuration, you'll be able to run the game at 1080p/60fps with medium settings and super resolution technology enabled.
To run the game at 1440p/60fps with high settings using super resolution technology, players will need an AMD Ryzen 5 5600 or Intel Core i5-11600K processor, 16GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA RTX 5060, RTX 3060 Ti, AMD RX 6700 XT, AMD RX 9060 XT, or Intel B580 graphics card.
To run the game at 4K/60fps with ultra settings using super resolution technology, players will need an Intel Core i5-14700K or AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor, 16GB of RAM, and an NVIDIA RTX 5070 Ti or AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT graphics card.
Gears of War: E-Day is one of the first games to utilize Unreal Engine 5's MegaLights technology. Thanks to MegaLights, the game will feature hundreds of light sources capable of casting shadows. Additionally, the PC version will support hardware-accelerated ray tracing for reflections, shadows, and global illumination. It also supports DLSS 4.5, AMD FSR4, and Intel XeSS 3.0.
The game will also include a built-in benchmark mode and offer advanced PC graphics settings. In terms of display features, the PC version supports HDR and ultrawide monitors.
Gears of War: E-Day is a prequel to the Gears of War series and marks the series' first mainline entry in six years. The game is scheduled for release next month as an Xbox console exclusive, while also launching on PC.
