Hideo Kojima confirmed during the 2026 Tokyo Game Show that actor Bill Skarsgård will star in the stealth action game Physint. Character names and specific details have not yet been revealed.
Skarsgård has appeared in films such as It, Nosferatu, and Barbarian. Other actors previously confirmed to join the cast of Physint include Charli Frazier, Ma Dong-seok, and Minami Hamabe.
Discussing the collaboration, Hideo Kojima stated that they have long been fans of each other's work, which led to their decision to embark on this new journey together. He also revealed that more cast members will be announced in the future.
The official team also unveiled a new visual derived from camera tests conducted earlier this year. The image features both Skarsgård and Frazier, with their outfits possibly resembling those of their respective in-game characters.
The visual is accompanied by the tagline "The Next Cold War Begins." While it doesn't provide explicit story details, it offers clues about the potential narrative direction of the title.
Physint's publisher has shifted from PlayStation to Xbox. No approximate release window has been announced yet, with the official launch likely still several years away; under the current publishing arrangement, the game will be released on Xbox consoles and PC.
