Paul Bettany recently responded to questions about whether Wanda would make a cameo in Vision Quest but gave no definitive answer. He also revealed that the new Marvel series has other surprises, major revelations, and plenty of Easter eggs in store.
When asked if Elizabeth Olsen would appear, Bettany stated that the matter is currently under wraps, "even a secret from me." He neither confirmed Wanda's return nor directly denied the possibility.
Bettany also mentioned that the series will feature other surprises and major revelations, confirming it includes numerous Easter eggs and cameos by actors from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. However, he did not disclose specific names.
Wanda last appeared in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. At the end of the film, she caused Mount Wundagore to collapse and destroyed the Darkhold across all universes, leaving her subsequent status unexplained.
Vision Quest will continue the story after WandaVision, focusing on how Vision comes to understand himself following previous events. Bettany returns as Vision, and James Spader reprises his role as Ultron; Ultron will appear mostly in human form throughout the series. Ruairidh Mollica plays Tommy, the son of Wanda and Vision.
According to currently released information, Vision Quest will conclude on October 14, detailing Vision's experiences after WandaVision. Whether Wanda participates in this story remains officially unconfirmed.
