Steam's latest Free Weekend is now live, offering limited-time free access to four co-op or multiplayer games. Players can experience Diablo IV, Sea of Thieves, Last Flag, and Jump Space before 10:00 AM PT / 1:00 PM ET on September 21.
Free Weekends allow players to fully play participating promotional games during the event period, but do not grant permanent ownership. Access ends when the event concludes. Some games offer purchase discounts during the same period, allowing players who buy them to continue playing.
Diablo IV
Diablo IV hardly needs introduction; it is an action RPG set in the dark world of Sanctuary. Players can create characters, battle hordes of demons, collect increasingly powerful gear, and build their characters around different skills and equipment. Players can tackle the campaign alone or with friends, exploring a vast world, clearing dungeons, challenging bosses, and fighting enemies related to Lilith's return. In addition to the campaign and DLC, Diablo IV offers rich endgame content.
During this event, the game is 75% off, dropping from $49.99 to $12.49. The discount lasts until September 24.
Sea of Thieves
At the heart of Sea of Thieves is exploring a vast shared world where players act as pirates, exploring islands, searching for buried treasure, completing voyages, and battling enemies and rival crews. Much of the gameplay revolves around safely returning with treasure, as crews lose all their loot if their ship sinks before reaching an outpost. While sailing, players can fight creatures like the Kraken, go fishing, customize their ships, draw treasure maps, and participate in various seasonal events.
The game is currently 65% off, reduced from $39.99 to $13.99. The discount runs until September 27.
Last Flag
The multiplayer game Last Flag aims to elevate the classic Capture the Flag mode, centering the entire match around finding, stealing, and defending your team's objective. Two teams of five first have 60 seconds to hide their flags before the chase officially begins. Each player possesses unique skills that can be combined with teammates. Coins earned during matches can be used to upgrade equipment, adding more variables to the combat. Once one team captures the opponent's flag, the match enters its final phase: that team must protect the captured flag for 60 seconds, while the other team strives to reclaim it at all costs.
This title is not included in the simultaneous sale and remains priced at $4.99.
Jump Space
Jump Space is a four-player co-op PvE game on Steam. Players take on the roles of a spaceship crew, constantly switching between piloting the ship, exploring planets, and conducting space expeditions. Missions include random elements, requiring the crew to adapt, fight enemies, salvage resources, repair damage, and keep the ship operational. Players can assume different responsibilities such as piloting, engineering, and field exploration without being confined to traditional classes. Ships and weapons can be upgraded and customized between missions. The greatest fun in Jump Space lies in keeping Everythinggj running smoothly under pressure, adding a touch of humorous charm to the cooperative gameplay.
