PAX Australia will take place from October 9 to 11 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, with hands-on demos available for several unreleased games. The lineup includes titles such as Total War: WARHAMMER 40,000, Alien: Isolation 2, and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III.
SEGA will offer demos of four games at its booth. Total War: WARHAMMER 40,000 will feature three playable scenarios, while the other three titles are Alien: Isolation 2, Persona 4 Revival, and Stranger Than Heaven, presented in a film noir style.
The multiplayer mode of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III will also be available to play. Scheduled for release on October 23, the game can be tried out at the convention before its official launch.
The Square Enix booth will offer demos of the Switch 2 version of Final Fantasy XIV, along with bracelet-making workshops and themed photo opportunities. Michael-Christopher Koji Fox, Localization Director for Final Fantasy XIV, and Toshio Murouchi, Global Community Producer, will participate in a behind-the-scenes panel discussion and share their game development experiences during a hot sauce challenge.
The event will also feature special showcases offering an early look at Final Fantasy VII Rebirth content. The Ubisoft Community Esports Stage will host Rainbow Six Siege matches, an Assassin's Creed sea shanty sing-along, a Ubisoft cosplay runway show, and Just Dance interactive activities.
In addition to publisher booths, the PAX Rising indie game section at this year's PAX Australia will showcase over 90 titles. Event passes are now on sale, and the full schedule has been announced.
