This zombie action game was unveiled at the Sega Special Event during Tokyo Game Show 2026 on September 18. It is the latest entry in the Lollipop Chainsaw series, with its story and gameplay direction continuing from the original game and the remake, Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP.

Development is being jointly carried out by Dragami Games and JP Universe. Hajime Tabata, head of JP Universe, previously worked on Final Fantasy XV at Square Enix. Original scenario writer Masahiro Yuki and Nekoshowgun, who contributed to character design and art, have also joined the production of this title.

The team has not yet revealed complete gameplay details, but introduced three main directions: characters, world, and action. The design of the protagonist, Juliet, will be further enhanced, with developers aiming to make her stand out more prominently among hordes of zombies and attract new players with a more distinct image.

The world setting will continue to blend horror, pop culture, and kitsch styles, expanding on these elements in the sequel. The action component focuses on smooth controls and responsive feedback, while emphasizing the visual spectacle of Juliet's combat.

A trailer was also screened at the event. The team stated that the trailer deliberately toned down some of the provocative scenes from the original, with related content to be gradually revealed in the future. Currently, the game is only confirmed for a 2027 release on PS5.
