Tokyo Game Show 2026 was held at Makuhari Messe International Exhibition Center in Chiba Prefecture from September 17 to 21, 2026 (with the 17th and 18th being business days). Attack on Titan 3 is a hunting action game centered on the complete story of Attack on Titan, depicting Everythinggj from the beginning to the final conclusion, serving as the culmination of the series. In addition to the debut of the Nine Titans and new story content, this title reconstructs and depicts parts of the story previously covered in the series. The game will be released on December 10, 2026 (Thursday) for Switch 2, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam).
The player-controlled protagonist is a soldier in the Survey Corps with long-standing ties to Levi, Hange, and others. Originally working in a workshop in the Underground City, the protagonist was recruited by the Survey Corps due to their exceptional craftsmanship and began instructing the 104th Training Corps due to a certain incident.
Includes Numerous Original Side Stories Alongside Retelling the Original Plot
Attack on Titan 3 not only fully presents the story of the Attack on Titan anime from start to finish but also includes numerous original side stories and events exclusive to the game.Some content will be revealed for the first time at the stage event on September 20.
Save Data Linkage Bonus Revealed: A partner sharing the same name as the previous game's protagonist and possessing special skills will join as a squad member
Previously unannounced save data联动 bonuses are now being revealed for the first time.
If players have save data from Attack on Titan 2 or Attack on Titan 2 -Final Battle- on the same platform, a "partner who shares the same name as the previous game's protagonist and possesses special skills" will appear as a squad member in Attack on Titan 3.
This "partner who shares the same name as the previous game's protagonist and possesses special skills" can have their name changed after joining the party. If renaming them to match the protagonist of Attack on Titan 3 makes them difficult to distinguish, players can choose to rename them again.
Invite Original Series Characters to Your Room for Interaction
In Attack on Titan 3, players can interact with original series characters stationed at the Survey Corps headquarters and give them gifts.
Certain characters, such as Hange, can be invited to the player's own room. In room conversations, choosing appropriate responses will change the scene and continue the dialogue.
Once conversations reach a certain point, a bonus segment begins. Players can freely view the characters, and calling out to them will cause them to turn and look at the player. Note that there is no time limit for this viewing mode.
Character Mission with Story Content: "Consultation"
The game also reveals character missions with story content called "Consultations."
One example is a mission where Captain Levi invites the player to join an expedition beyond the Walls.
Strengthen Your Squad Through Dining, and Even Eat with Levi
Attack on Titan 3 also introduces an in-game dining system. Dining not only increases affinity between characters but also temporarily buffs the entire squad, giving players an advantage in battles against Titans when eating before expeditions beyond the Walls.
In addition to squad members, players can apparently dine with characters who accompany them during character missions.
