Today (November 2), the official team of the Chinese AAA wuxia action game "Phantom Blade Zero" announced that sales across all platforms surpassed 4 million copies within 72 hours of release.
Regarding various issues reported by players since launch, the official team stated they have recorded each one and are working on optimizations. They plan to prioritize fixing a batch of more obvious bugs in the near future to further improve the player experience.
Developed and published by S-Games, "Phantom Blade Zero" is built on Unreal Engine 5 and centers around fast-paced, high-intensity combat. The game constructs a fictional wuxia world blending traditional Chinese martial arts with steampunk elements, incorporating extensive real-world martial arts moves into its combat design to deliver an experience that combines wuxia flair with the satisfaction of action gameplay.
Actor Donnie Yen has served as the game supervisor for "Phantom Blade Zero" since 2023, contributing facial and motion capture for the character "Mo Yuan, Lord of the Dark Demon Castle." Additionally, Donnie Yen's stunt team, the Yen Family, was deeply involved in the game's development, providing professional support for martial arts choreography.
