EA Sports FC 27 Dev Team Holds Off on Core Gameplay Balance Adjustments, Will Continue Monitoring Player Experience

The EA SPORTS FC 27 development team stated that there will be no adjustments to core gameplay balance in the near future. The team believes the current experience needs time to stabilize, so changes to core balance are not being considered at this time.

Core balance will not be adjusted for now, but the development team will continue to address bugs and unintended behaviors. For example, an issue causing incorrect command inputs due to custom button settings was fixed in a recent update.

Regarding Ultimate Team, the development team stated that the Gallery feature and gameplay tuning have received positive initial feedback, with increased usage of the Transfer Market. The team continues to monitor how these adjustments affect player playtime and Squad Battles difficulty, while looking for ways to streamline operations in new features.

One improvement currently underway is simplifying SBC operations in the Companion app. The development team has also noted player discussions around Dynamic Overall Ratings and Stamina, observing the impact of these mechanics on the overall season experience while addressing issues related to player demands and Transfer Market behavior.

For The Grounds and Clubs modes, the development team has noted player feedback regarding Kickabouts queue times, Winner Stays, and Win Streaks. The team plans to share more game observations next week, followed by dedicated Q&A sessions for Career Mode, Gameplay, The Grounds & Clubs, and Ultimate Team.
