CDPR has confirmed that a free update for "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt" Remastered Edition will be released for existing versions. The download sizes for Steam, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S platforms are all approximately 45GB.
On September 25, Marcin Momot, CDPR's Global Community and Social Media Director, announced the estimated download sizes for each platform. The actual download size for the Steam version may vary depending on the installed language packs; the Nintendo Switch 2 version is approximately 50GB.
This update includes several improvements aimed at bringing the game up to current standards and will also prepare for the release of "The Witcher: Old World" scheduled for next year.
