In Control: Resonance, If Players Spend Too Long on Side Quests, the Board Will Scold Dylan and Urge Him to Return to the Main Story

"Control: Resonance" offers plenty of side content, but if players don't advance the main story for a long time, the Board will start reprimanding Dylan, urging him to return to the primary mission. These reminders appear within the game's narrative.

Some players discovered this reaction while slowing down the main story progress to explore Manhattan and complete side quests. The Board reminds Dylan of his duties, expressing dissatisfaction with him spending time on other matters.

If Dylan temporarily sets aside his mission to save people, the Board sometimes shows an even colder side: it considers these individuals expendable and doesn't feel it's worth delaying for them.

The game itself offers side stories and various activities, allowing players to temporarily leave the main storyline and explore other areas of Manhattan. The Board's urging doesn't prohibit players from continuing side quests; instead, it incorporates responses to player choices into character dialogue.
