Developer Refugium Games first launched Edgefield High: Rock Campus on PC this August. With the PS5 version now available, PS5 has become the game's only console platform to date. Set in a school environment, the game follows a theme similar to Bully, but on a smaller production scale.
As of the latest data, the PS5 version has received 241 user reviews on the PlayStation Store, with an average score of 3.47 out of 5. Among these, 48% gave five stars and 22% gave one star; combined, these two extremes account for 70% of all ratings.
Players leaving positive reviews are willing to overlook the game's shortcomings in production and polish, while those with negative reviews feel these issues detract from the experience. Some players also believe that the current state of the game does not justify its $30 price tag.
Feedback from PC players has been more negative: the positive review rate among Steam users stands at 36%. The game offers approximately 18 to 25 hours of gameplay, depending on how much side content players complete.
