Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War has revealed character designs for Kazui Kurosaki and Ichika Abarai, confirming their appearances in the final two episodes of the anime. The anime is currently on hiatus as the production team completes these episodes.
The final two chapters of Tite Kubo's original manga depicted the futures of Ichigo Kurosaki and others. The latest issue of Weekly Shonen Jump featured images of Kazui and Ichika; official accounts for Tite Kubo and the staff also shared related news.
Regarding the voice cast, Anzaki Tachibana will voice Kazui Kurosaki, and Ayaka Ohashi will voice Ichika Abarai. The two characters are the future children of Ichigo Kurosaki and Rukia Kuchiki, respectively, and their appearance reveals that Ichigo and Rukia did not become a couple.
According to the broadcast schedule, the Japanese version of Episode 49 will be released on October 19, and Episode 50 will follow at the same time on October 26. The English-dubbed versions of both episodes are scheduled for release on November 23 and November 30, respectively.
Following the anime's conclusion, Bleach plans to hold a special event in Japan in 2027, featuring voice actors.
