"Spider-Man: Brand New Day" has reportedly reached a North American box office of $950.6 million, becoming the first film to surpass $950 million in North America. The film achieved this milestone in its ninth week of release.
Previously, the film's cumulative box office in the United States reached $936.77 million on its 47th day of release. Data released on September 17 showed that this figure exceeded the $936.66 million of "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," placing "Spider-Man: Brand New Day" at the top of the U.S. all-time box office chart.
"Spider-Man: Brand New Day" is adapted from Marvel Comics and is the fourth Spider-Man film starring Tom Holland. The story takes place four years after the ending of "Spider-Man: No Way Home": people have forgotten Peter Parker, who still hides his identity while fighting crime in New York as Spider-Man.
