Owlcat Games has announced that the fourth DLC for Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, "March of the Dead," has been delayed from its original September release date to December 2026. The development team stated that the expansion requires more polishing and cannot be released as originally planned.
Owlcat Games stated that the team had strived to release the expansion in September but later confirmed it would not be ready on time, leading to the decision to postpone its launch. The new release window is currently set for December 2026, with the team indicating there are no plans for further delays.
Players who purchased the Season Pass on Steam can contact Steam Support to request a refund if they are unwilling to wait for the fourth DLC. However, refunding the Season Pass will result in the removal of both "March of the Dead" and the other DLC, "Infinite Vault," from your account.
The refund will also affect save files that have "Infinite Vault" enabled: these saves will become unplayable, and players will need to purchase the DLC separately to continue playing. The cosmetic packs included in the Season Pass will be freely integrated into the base game for all players, so they will not affect save files. The development team noted that similar changes for console versions will be rolled out slightly later than the Steam version.
