The standard edition of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 for PS5 is currently 50% off in the PlayStation Store, priced at €39.99 until October 8, 2026. Marvel's Wolverine, also developed by Insomniac Games, recently launched on PS5 on September 15.
This discount is part of the "Autumn Adventures" promotion on the PlayStation Store. The standard edition of Marvel's Spider-Man 2, originally priced at €79.99, is reduced to €39.99 during the event.
Developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 was originally built for the PS5. Players can switch between Peter Parker and Miles Morales as they explore a New York City expanded to include Brooklyn and Queens, battling enemies such as Kraven the Hunter, the Lizard, and Venom.
The game leverages the PS5's SSD to reduce loading times when switching between the two protagonists, and uses the DualSense controller's haptic feedback and adaptive triggers to simulate web-wing gliding. Post-launch updates have also added New Game+, unlockable suits, more customization options, and an improved photo mode.
The game was released on October 20, 2023, selling over 2.5 million copies on its first day and surpassing 5 million within 11 days. To date, combined sales for its PS5 and PC versions have exceeded 18.2 million copies.
The development team has previously confirmed that no new story DLC will be produced for Marvel's Spider-Man 2. The standard edition for PS5 is currently available at a limited-time price of €39.99, with the offer ending on October 8.
