Pokémon Sleep has announced the next Cooking Week event, which will begin on October 5 at 4:00 AM. Foongus and Amoonguss will also appear in Sleep Research starting from 3:00 PM on the same day.
Pokémon Sleep surpassed 30 million downloads this April, and news about the first Legendary Pokémon was previously announced. The newly added Foongus and Amoonguss are both Poison-type Pokémon; starting from October 5 at 3:00 PM, players can also use their corresponding Incense.
Two Pokémon species will appear on Greengrass Isle, Cyan Beach, Amber Snagshores, as well as in the EX modes of Greengrass Isle and Snowdrop Tundra. Compared to other locations, their appearance rate is higher in the Snowdrop Tundra EX mode.
The Cooking Week event runs until October 12 at 3:59 AM. It is available in all regions, and event quests are open during the same period. During the event, Helper Pokémon skilled at gathering ingredients will appear more frequently; these Pokémon will bring back an extra portion of ingredients when they help through normal means. The capacity of the cooking pot is doubled compared to usual, and quadrupled on Sundays.
During the event, the appearance rates of Foongus and Amoonguss are increased, while the appearance rates of Pokémon such as Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle will also rise slightly. The Energy provided by dishes is increased to 1.25 times the usual amount; it becomes 2.5 times for Superb dishes, and 3.75 times for Superb dishes made on Sundays. Pokémon recover 5 additional Energy after eating, and the amount of Ingredients provided by Main Skills increases to 1.5 times.
The limited-time "Mini Candy Boost" feature will be enabled by default during the event. Players can disable it at any time on the upgrade screen. When this feature is active, the Experience Points gained by Pokémon from candies are doubled, while the Dream Shards consumed per candy increase fourfold. A maximum of 50 candies can be used per day. After the event ends, this feature will be temporarily unavailable.
