Pearl Abyss today announced that its open-world action-adventure game, Crimson Desert: Enhanced Edition, has received two nominations at the 2026 Golden Joystick Awards: "PC Game of the Year" and "Best Soundtrack."
Established in 1983, the Golden Joystick Awards are one of the longest-running video game awards in the world, now entering their 44th year. Nominations for each category are selected by a jury of gaming media and industry experts, with the final winners decided by global players through online voting.
The PC Game of the Year award aims to honor titles that deliver an exceptional gaming experience on the PC platform, including aspects such as technical performance and optimization; the Best Soundtrack award recognizes works that create memorable and immersive gaming experiences through music.
Players can currently vote on the official Golden Joystick Awards website, with voting closing on October 23. The winners will be announced on November 11 (local time) in London, UK.
This September, Pearl Abyss announced that the first DLC for Crimson Desert: Enhanced Edition will officially launch on October 16. The announcement was made during Sony Interactive Entertainment's State of Play presentation, and global pre-orders for the DLC have opened.
