SEGA will hold a 30th-anniversary exhibition for Sakura Wars in Tokyo and Kyoto, revealing the full lineup of commemorative merchandise. Titled "Sakura Wars 30th Anniversary Exhibition ~Dreams Reborn~," the event will look back on the 30-year history of this theatrical adventure game series.
Set in a fictional "Taisho era" with advanced steam technology, the Sakura Wars series has spawned TV anime, theatrical anime, musical revues, and manga. The series has shipped over 4 million copies domestically in Japan.
Commemorative merchandise for this exhibition will be sold by Movic, featuring newly illustrated key visuals created specifically for the event. Items include acrylic boards from Sakura Wars and New Sakura Wars, retro-style T-shirts featuring Sakura Shinguji, the Imperial Flower Combat Division, and the Paris Flower Combat Division, as well as plush toys. Acrylic boards are priced at 2,200 yen each, T-shirts at 8,800 yen each, the Jean-Paul plush toy at 7,700 yen, and character mini-plush toys at 1,980 yen each, all prices including tax.
Advance tickets for the exhibition are 2,000 yen, and door tickets are 2,400 yen, both including tax. Advance tickets for both locations are now on sale: Tokyo station tickets are available until 23:59 on October 30, 2026, and Kyoto station tickets until 23:59 on December 3, 2026. Paid attendees will receive one random ticket-style card from a set of six designs. Additionally, for every order of 2,200 yen or more in the merchandise area, customers will receive one random signed photo card from a set of 24 designs.
The Tokyo event will be held from October 31 to November 15, 2026, at SPACE1 on the 8th floor of Yurakucho Marui. The Kyoto event will take place from December 4, 2026, to January 4, 2027, at Space Galleria KYOTO on the 6th floor of Kyoto Avanti.
