The horror mystery adventure game Floor XIII's Mental Image ~S by the indie group Floor project launched on PC via Steam on September 28. Based on the original Floor XIII's Mental Image released in 2013, this version restructures the branching narrative to help players focus more easily on the story.
This version also includes a small amount of new content, along with additions and revisions to the text. The game is priced at 310 JPY (tax included), with a 13% launch discount running until October 11.
The story begins with a death on the 13th floor of an apartment building. Initially driven by curiosity, the protagonist investigates their older brother who passed away several months earlier, only to discover that ominous rumors circulating within the apartment may be linked to the cause of his death.
Players must uncover the truth amidst rumors and speculation, with choices leading to different endings. A demo for Floor XIII's Mental Image ~S is also available on Steam.
