Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 is now offering a limited-time claim for one free Double XP Token, available until 10:00 AM PT on October 26. Activision has not specified how long this token remains valid once claimed.
Participants must have an X account and create a new post or reply to the promotional post from the official Call of Duty account. The post must include their Activision ID, tag @CallofDuty, and contain the text "MW4 2XP". Note that "MW4 2XP" is not a hashtag.
This event coincides with the game's launch weekend. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4 was released globally on PC and consoles, including Switch 2, on October 23. This marks the series' return to Nintendo consoles since Call of Duty: Ghosts in 2013, and it is the first title since the 2023 reboot of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 not to launch day-one on Xbox Game Pass.
The single-player campaign and DMZ mode were released early on October 16 and 20, respectively, with the full version including multiplayer launching on October 23. The game also adjusts how Double XP Tokens are timed: the countdown only runs during actual matches, so time spent in menus and lobbies does not consume token duration.
In addition to this limited-time offer, the campaign's 16 missions collectively provide three Double XP Tokens and two Double Weapon XP Tokens, with additional Monster Energy promotions available during the launch period. Even if players miss this event, they can still earn XP boosts through these other methods.
