Solo developer Takeda Kaeru launched the demo for the short horror puzzle game "Put It Away Please" on Steam on October 26. Players must organize the fridge according to note instructions while staying alert to unknown threats gradually approaching from behind.
The game is set in a kitchen during summer vacation. Players must read notes on the fridge door and place various food items in their correct spots. Items can be picked up and examined, with information on the back of packaging serving as clues for puzzles. As days progress, the sorting conditions become increasingly strict, with the goal being to survive five days safely.
The sorting process is further constrained by two rules: cold air continuously escapes when the fridge door is open, preventing players from leaving it ajar for long periods to think; and if a sound comes from behind, they must turn around to check. Players need to balance their attention between categorizing food items and observing their surroundings.
"Put It Away Please" features low-poly graphics reminiscent of the PS1 era. A single playthrough is estimated to take 30–40 minutes. The game supports Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese, and includes 11 Steam achievements. The full release is scheduled for November 26, with pricing yet to be announced. It is currently available to wishlist on Steam.
