The Epic Games Store has announced the final round of free weekly games for October 2026. The survival horror game "Sorry We're Closed" will replace the current free offerings on October 29, with the claim period lasting until November 5.
The claim period ends at 8 AM PT, 11 AM ET, and 4 PM CET on November 5. The game's regular price is $24.99. Under the current schedule, this will also be the first time in nearly two months that Epic offers only one product as its weekly free game.
"Sorry We're Closed" was developed by the UK studio à la mode games and released in November 2024. The game features a retro visual style and distinguishes gameplay through perspective shifts: shooting sections primarily use a first-person view, while other scenes employ fixed cameras reminiscent of early "Resident Evil" titles. With an average score of 82 and an 86% recommendation rate from 52 reviews on OpenCritic, it holds a "Strong" rating.
This is not the first time this title has been featured in Epic's free giveaways. It was available for free for 24 hours during the 2025 holiday giveaway event, whereas this round's claim period extends to a full week.
Until October 29, players can still claim "The Ritual of Skell" and "Home: A Unique Horror Adventure." All three games align with the Halloween horror theme. Epic has not yet announced whether there will be any surprise bonuses on October 31; currently, the only confirmed next weekly free game is "Epic Games".
