On October 26, Game Freak released patch v1.1.02 for the action RPG "Beast Reincarnation," with the PS5 version updated to v1.013.000. With this update, the frequent post-launch updates will temporarily come to an end.
After the update, players can change Emma's outfits via the bed menu on the Purification Ship or at campsites, and different patterned outfit variants have been added to each area. When starting New Game+, equipment, outfits, and skins can be carried over. The cultivation device also features a new "Accelerate Growth" function, allowing players to speed up crop growth by earning acceleration uses from defeating enemies.
In terms of combat, some bosses have gained new attack moves, and the stats for regular enemies, area elites, certain Bloom skills, and sword techniques have been adjusted. The defense mechanic has been changed to holding down the button, and operations such as switching to ranged weapons during normal attacks or Iai stance standby have been improved.
This patch also fixes several issues that could affect progression, including the Chapter 3 boss being invulnerable, an invisible wall appearing before the elite enemy in Chapter 10, the scene darkening after defeating the boss in Chapter 11, and situations where dialogue on the Purification Ship or using the bed menu could prevent the game from progressing.
The PC version additionally adds support for DualSense touchpad and button icons, and improves display or loading issues on ultra-wide screens, ROG Ally, and Steam Deck. Although frequent updates have paused, the developers will continue to receive player feedback through their support channel, and game maintenance has not stopped.
