Players will unlock Tianxia Bachang's suspenseful secret universe in a new way, experiencing the core interactive gameplay of "Your Choices Rewrite Fate."
Delving deep into the core of Tianxia Bachang's IP, combining live-action filming with AIGC technology to recreate the fantastical realm of the Sky Pit
"Sky Pit Bandit Chase" is adapted from Tianxia Bachang's novel of the same name and is the first interactive movie game in the "Sky Pit Series." Delving deep into the core of Tianxia Bachang's IP, the game combines full live-action filming with cinematic-quality visuals and AIGC-generated scenes and content to recreate the fantastical realm of the sky pits in Laoyeling, Northeast China, in 1954. The story follows a Sino-foreign scientific expedition team that accidentally falls into a sky pit while exploring the deep mountains, leading to their mysterious disappearance. Players will take on the role of Zhao Gong, the rescue team leader, tasked with leading a squad into the primeval forest and underground forbidden zones to uncover the truth behind the expedition's disappearance, facing eerie phenomena, underground bandits, and power struggles among various factions within the sky pit.
Choice-driven narrative, where every decision rewrites fate
The core of this title is "choice-driven narrative, where choices rewrite fate." The game features a vast array of branching storylines and multiple independent endings. Every judgment made by the player at key moments will alter the characters' destinies and even influence the overall direction of the story. Perilous jungles, underground secrets, and psychological games intertwine, transforming players from mere observers into active participants in the adventure. Blending puzzle-solving exploration, character confrontations, and survival adventure gameplay, the game features full Chinese voice acting to immersively recreate the unique suspenseful atmosphere of Northeast China's wilderness as depicted in Tianxia Bachang's works.
AIGC deeply assists creation, with technology serving the narrative
During the development phase, the project utilized AIGC as an auxiliary tool for visual creation. It focused on conceptual scene previews, designing anomalous entities, and expanding scene boundaries for visual spectacles such as the primeval forests of Laoyeling in Northeast China, the deep underground sky pits, and eerie flying monkeys. This approach improved the efficiency of early-stage visual development and ensured smoother scene transitions within the multi-branching storyline.
The story's core, live-action footage, character development, and main plotline were all independently crafted by the creative team. Visuals generated by AIGC are primarily used to express various visual spectacles, ensuring that technology always serves the narrative itself, ultimately preserving the unique immersion and live-action performance quality characteristic of interactive movie games.
