Fortnite version 43.00 is now live, with console update 1.000.237, launching the new "Treasure Hunter" season. The new map, Crossbones Island, supports 80-player matches and includes multiple locations and themed gear inspired by One Piece.
Crossbones Island features areas such as Lantern Street Alleys, the Sea Restaurant, Windmill Village, Loguetown, Arlong Park, Plunder Port, and the Fortress. Players can use the Gomu Gomu no Mi to transform into Luffy, fighting with long-range rubber punches, stomps, and charged dashes. Items like the Mera Mera no Mi, Zoro's Three Sword Style, Usopp's Slingshot, and Nami's Oranges have also been added to gameplay.
A$AP Rocky appears as the island's first boss; defeating him grants an exclusive rocket and a new Spirit. In the following weeks of the season, characters or content such as Lil Uzi, Hatsune Miku and Kasane Teto, and Oscar will be added. Double Spirit XP and Spirit Dust events will also resume every Monday.
A new season has begun for Battle Royale Ranked, with updated rewards. The One Piece Zoro Cup and Buggy Cup are scheduled for November 6 and November 13, respectively. System adjustments include chests replenishing over time, the removal of Gold Bars, and changes to certain healing and balance rules.
This patch also fixes issues with matchmaking, controllers, UI, cosmetic clipping, and various crashes, while improving loading speeds on the Spirit page. On PC, Performance Rendering Mode will be enabled by default for fresh installations on integrated graphics devices; Dynamic 3D Resolution can now be used simultaneously with DLSS.
