LEGO has officially revealed three new Friends sets for 2027, all scheduled for global release on January 1, 2027, and recommended for ages 7 and up. The three new sets focus on pet care, a party bus, and the Heartlake City Shopping Mall.
Set #42709 "Pet Care & Play Center" is priced at $49.99 and includes 366 pieces. Themed around an animal retreat in Heartlake City, the set features a slide, seesaw, cat tree, outdoor grooming area, pet bed, and a detachable reception desk. The completed model stands over 14 cm tall and is more than 20 cm wide.
Set #42718 "Friendship Party Bus" is priced at $59.99 and contains 676 pieces. The main model is a double-decker bus equipped with a fold-out water play area.
Set #42719 "Heartlake City Shopping Mall" is the largest of the three new releases, priced at $99.99 and comprising 843 pieces to build a two-story, four-storefront building with a finished width of over 40 cm. The interior features a working elevator, a matcha café, a hair salon, a game store, and a toy vending machine, along with clothing and hair accessory pieces; the roof also incorporates the smiling face flower pot element from the LEGO Botanical Collection.
Additionally, ten other Friends sets reportedly planned for a January 2027 launch were leaked in August, but these products have not yet been officially announced and are not in the same confirmed status as the three sets revealed this time.
