Resident Evil: Survival Squad will receive an update on November 5. Leon and Ada from Resident Evil 4 Remake are expected to appear in this update, and the game also plans to hold a one-year anniversary event. According to multiple Japanese gaming media outlets, this strategy mobile game, developed by Umbrella in collaboration with JOYCITY, will add Leon S. Kennedy and Ada Wong as "new heroes" in the update going live on the same day.
Currently released information mainly covers the update date, featured characters, and anniversary event arrangements. The roles, skills, and acquisition methods for Leon and Ada in the game have not yet been explained. The official statement only mentioned that the addition of these two characters will allow players to enjoy new team compositions and strategies, but whether they will be obtainable as gacha heroes, event rewards, or through other means awaits the detailed announcement on November 5. Based on existing information, both characters will appear in their Resident Evil 4 Remake designs, rather than their original looks.
The rewards, availability period, and participation requirements for the one-year anniversary event have not yet been announced; specific details are still pending confirmation.
