Driving Desktop-Level Graphics Experiences to Mobile Through AI Innovation

Arm Neural Technology, featured in the newly released Arm Mali G2-Ultra NX, deeply integrates AI-accelerated computing and graphics processing through technologies such as Neural Super Sampling, Neural Frame Rate Upscaling, and Neural Super Sampling and Denoising, delivering persistent, immersive visual experiences for edge devices. By leveraging neural graphics processing, Arm Neural Technology achieves up to four times the performance per watt compared to traditional rendering, within the limited power budget of mobile devices.

The value of this innovation lies not only in enhancing image quality and performance but also in improving the efficiency of computing resource utilization through AI. Within the limited power and thermal constraints of mobile devices, it enables richer, smoother, and more immersive visual experiences, extending more advanced desktop-level graphics experiences to mobile platforms and opening new possibilities for further applications of AI graphics technology on mobile devices.

Promoting the Scalable Adoption of AI Graphics Technology Through an Open Ecosystem

From technological innovation to practical application, ecosystem collaboration is playing an increasingly important role. Arm GPUs, highly favored by the market, have cumulatively shipped over 14 billion units worldwide, providing a substantial computing foundation that supports the expansion of advanced AI graphics technology to more devices and users. Building on this, Arm is collaborating with ecosystem partners such as OPPO, vivo, Xiaomi, NetEase, Papergames, Tencent Games, and Unity China to integrate neural technology into terminals, game engines, and content ecosystems. This accelerates the transition of advanced AI graphics capabilities from underlying technology to actual products and user experiences. Looking ahead, this technological foundation can also be applied to smart vehicles, industrial vision systems, and more edge AI scenarios, exploring more efficient AI computing and visual experiences for various terminals and applications.

Developer friendliness is a crucial aspect of technology adoption. Catering to Arm's ecosystem of 22 million developers, Arm is lowering the barrier to adopting AI graphics technology through development tools, plugins, sample code, and model resources. This enables developers to more easily integrate these capabilities into their existing workflows, allowing them to focus more on content and experience innovation.

Leveraging its extensive computing platform and global hardware-software ecosystem, Arm will continue to collaborate with industry partners and developers to expand the boundaries of AI graphics technology applications, promoting the transition of advanced AI graphics capabilities from technological innovation to scalable adoption, benefiting more developers and users.
