Recent reports suggest that the schedule for the next Kingdom Come: Deliverance title may be impacted following a cyberattack on Warhorse Studios. The upcoming game, which has not yet been officially named, is reportedly unlikely to launch in the first half of 2027 and may not make its debut until the summer of that year.
The studio expects to resolve the current situation within about a week. The new title may be showcased at a "major European gaming event" in summer 2027, with a later release date.
Warhorse's Head of PR had previously scheduled the next title for the next fiscal year, which would place its earliest release after April 1, 2027. The company currently refers to the project only as "a new Kingdom Come: Deliverance adventure" and has not yet confirmed it as the third main installment in the series.
Warhorse confirmed on October 27 that its systems and data had been accessed without authorization, and determined on October 30 that a data breach had occurred. The studio is working with authorities and security experts to assess the scope of the incident and strengthen its security measures. Officials have not stated whether the breach will affect the development schedule of any projects. The studio is also developing a confirmed open-world RPG based on The Lord of the Rings, though an official timeline for the project has yet to be announced.
