Alinea Analytics estimates that the first-person horror game Silent Hill: Townfall, developed by Screen Burn, has sold approximately 404,000 copies since its launch. At a price of $50, this translates to roughly $20.2 million in revenue. These figures are not official performance data released by Konami.
According to the estimated data, the PS5 version accounts for 70.9% of total game sales, while physical copies contributed 42.8% of revenue. The proportion of physical revenue is also being used to discuss the importance of physical releases and PlayStation's decision to discontinue physical media starting January 2028.
This performance falls short of the other two recent entries in the series. Silent Hill 2 Remake sold over 1 million copies in its first three days, while Silent Hill f reached the same milestone on its first day. However, the latter two titles received significantly better reviews and launched on more platforms, so market performance cannot be judged solely by sales figures.
Silent Hill: Townfall also faced stiff competition upon release, with titles like Control: Resonance, Onimusha: Way of the Sword, and Blood of Dawnwalkers vying for attention around the same time.
