Xbox Studios and Playground Games have released the major "City Life" update for Forza Horizon 6. Starting November 2, the game adds two permanent race routes: the Edo Circuit for Road Races and the Capital Expressway Sprint for Street Races, along with new engine swap options.
This update also adds 35 IKEA-themed decorative items, including tables and chairs, lamps, bookshelves, TV stands, and game controller-shaped ornaments. Starting November 5, players can unlock 10 Festival Playlist reward cars through events, including the 2016 Honda S660 Alpha, 1970 Honda N600, 2025 Citroën Ami, and 1996 Toyota Starlet Glanza V.
Car Pass owners or holders of the specified Premium Edition will also receive vehicles such as the Ford Mustang GTD, Nissan 240RS, and Porsche Macan GTS on specific dates. The limited-time "City Life" series will run from November 5 to December 3, with rewards including Gacha Machine collectibles, returning Time Trial routes, player badges, car horns, and emotes.
In terms of system adjustments, the development team has lowered the Playlist points required to obtain new cars, making it easier for players who cannot participate in online content to acquire vehicles. Due to illegitimate records on the leaderboards, all Stunt Leaderboards have been reset; issues with map exploration percentage, vehicle display, stability, and multiplayer crew visibility have also been fixed.
Additionally, the update adjusts the performance of the Ginetta G40 Junior. The car was previously too strong across multiple PI levels, affecting race balance, making it a target for this round of vehicle balance adjustments.
