1-4 Player Co-op Building Game 'GRAVHOUNDS' Launches in Early Access

GRAVHOUNDS, a cooperative action-building game developed by the indie team Octopus Panic, has launched in Early Access, supporting 1 to 4 players. Players must travel to hostile planets to gather resources, build and defend their base, and ultimately evacuate with their supplies.

Both combat and construction revolve around gravity mechanics. Players can use gravity to attack enemies or fire unstable materials with gravity beams, though this process may cause unpredictable casualties. The longer you hold out, the richer the rewards, but the danger level will also increase.

Base management involves deploying turrets, generators, and workbenches. Players also need to expand production lines, transport resources, and maintain power supply. The Early Access launch includes 5 playable characters, 7 star systems, and 25 planets, along with 21 defense systems and 60 modules to unlock.

The developers stated that the single-player mode focuses more on tense survival, while multiplayer co-op emphasizes combining different character abilities and chaotic interactions. Currently, no information has been released regarding the full version's launch date or future update roadmap.
