"GTA 6" will launch on PS5 and XSX|S on November 19. Current pre-load information indicates the digital version file size is 212GB, with pre-loading starting on November 10. Players are advised to arrange sufficient storage space and download time in advance.
The two platforms use different pre-load timing methods. The XSX|S version will unlock globally at 00:00 GMT on November 10, corresponding to 19:00 EST on November 9, 18:00 CST, 16:00 PST, and 01:00 CET on November 10. The PS5 version will unlock at 00:00 local time on November 10, based on the player's region.
Upon official release, both the PS5 and XSX|S versions will unlock at 00:00 local time on November 19 in each region, meaning players in different time zones will gain access at different times. For those choosing physical retail copies, boxed code versions are expected to arrive at retailers starting November 12.
It is also reported that Rockstar will provide printable official cover art and a full map of Leonida for free on their official website on launch day. Double-sided printed maps and posters will later be sold in the Rockstar Store for $0.99, or offered as a gift with any purchase.
