The Tuna Boss in "Fish It" is a powerful boss on Red Island. To defeat it, you can lure the tuna near the stairs depending on the situation, observe its movement direction, and repeatedly circle around the left and right sides of the stairs. If necessary, run up the stairs and jump down to buy time for dealing damage, reloading, and recovering.
How to Defeat the Tuna Boss in Fish It
Red Island Prerequisite: "Tuna"
The tuna is a prerequisite target for the albatross and can be caught using "Pro Boss Bait."
Although the sniper rifle is unlocked on Red Island, its damage output against the tuna is too low. If you can summon s1mple or ZywOo, you can use the sniper rifle; if no one answers your call, it's recommended to stick with the submachine gun.
Staircase Strategy
Lure the tuna near the stairs, observe its movement direction, and repeatedly circle around the left and right sides of the stairs. If necessary, run up the stairs and jump down to buy time for dealing damage, reloading, and recovering.
The key isn't to compete with it on reaction speed, but to exploit its pathfinding using the terrain.
Casino Table Strategy
If circling the stairs doesn't feel right, you can also enter the "Lucky Bait Casino" at the summit and move around the tables. The casino tables offer more stable cover, while the stairs may provide better firing angles. Choose based on your preference.
After defeating the tuna, carry it with you or place it on the ground to use its scent to attract an albatross. Once the albatross appears, the tuna used as bait will be consumed.
