Cecilia: Gameplay Guide for the Leek Root Sword

In "Cephelia," the Leek Root Sword is a highly effective sword-and-shield weapon. It is an upgraded version of the Carrot Sword, with special effects that increase all attribute damage by 2 and boost magic book damage by 15%. While the katana modified with Yui's short dagger offers the highest damage output for magic builds, it still falls short of the Leek Root Sword for solo clears.

How to Play with the Leek Root Sword in Cephelia

For magic builds, the biggest damage boost actually comes from the katana modified with Yui's short dagger, which is in a league of its own. I originally planned to use Yui's build, but got crushed twice by the three elite bosses on floor 5. At N60 difficulty, magic builds require grabbing many specific items, making it relatively difficult to secure guaranteed dodge and guard stats like other builds. Furthermore, casting spells is inherently clunky, amplifying the lack of margin for error. Therefore, purely in terms of clear rate at maximum difficulty, the Leek Root Sword completely outperforms Yui's build. Of course, if you argue that I'm just not skilled enough to achieve no-hit runs at N60 with the katana, I'll accept that criticism. (Note: "No rerolling" refers to disabling sapphire refreshes in the shop and save/load manipulation during runs.)
