In a medieval world scarred by war, players can capture, train, evolve, and breed over 200 monsters. Monster Emblem: Vision Impossible presents a tamer RPG adventure in 2D pixel art, requiring mastery of tactical grid combat, collection of faction emblems, and participation in the Grand Monster Tournament.
Monster Emblem: Vision Impossible is a classic 2D pixel-art monster-collecting RPG inspired by console adventure games from the early 2000s.
After hundreds of years of war, the kingdom's factions finally agreed to stop killing each other. Disputes will be resolved peacefully, rationally, and responsibly through heavily armed monster duels.
As a foreign traveler, you are invited to explore this newly peaceful realm. Capture, train, and breed over 200 monsters to build your ideal team, mastering a tactical grid-based combat system where movement and positioning are just as important as raw power.
Challenge each faction's leader, collect their faction emblems, and earn your spot in the Grand Monster Tournament. Survive long enough, and you might even obtain the legendary Pokémon Monster Emblem. Simple. Probably.
Complete Your Bestiary: Discover over 200 unique monsters scattered throughout the realm. Some are cute, some are creepy, and some are both.
Social Gameplay: Join Steam lobbies to see other players exploring the world in real time. Chat, exchange monsters, challenge rival tamers to duels, or silently judge their team choices.
Tactical Grid Combat: Battles take place directly on the world map, turning the surrounding terrain into a strategic battlefield. Position your monsters, plan their moves, and try to hit the tiles you actually want to hit.
Quests: Help townsfolk and factions deal with stolen heirlooms, invading goblins, suspicious rituals, overly active wildlife, and other perfectly normal local issues.
Bounty Hunting: Accept quests to track down dangerous rogue monsters. Defeat or capture your targets for rewards, level up as a bounty hunter, and unlock more powerful targets—creatures that want to devour you.
Build Your Dream Team: Pair compatible monsters to inherit useful skills and some of their parents' stats. Choose carefully, put them together, and politely give them some privacy.
For centuries, powerful factions vied for control of the kingdom, using monsters as their most potent weapons. New peace treaties prohibit humans from killing each other, allow free passage, and replace open warfare with regulated monster duels.
To curb human competitive instincts, the Guild of Prophets founded the Grand Monster Tournament. Any foreigner can compete, but only those who have collected all faction emblems may enter the Grand Monster Arena. Your journey will take you through lands ruled by jesters, witches, wizards, druids, necromancers, warlocks, and others who might not be trusted with political power.
Meanwhile, the prophets, who claim to see all, are troubled by something they cannot perceive. Warlocks have surpassed their mental vision, aiding parts of the community while shocking those in power. Whether they are dangerous villains or just asking troublesome questions is for you to decide.
Assemble your team. Explore the factions. Endure the jokes. Ask everyone. Then enter the Grand Monster Tournament to prove that an inexperienced outsider with a few dangerous creatures can solve problems that centuries of diplomacy couldn't.
Developer's Note: Long ago, I envisioned the most interesting game. Unfortunately, I didn't write it all down, and over time I forgot most of it, but this is still pretty interesting.
