After the disappearance of the Royal Chicken, a group of enthusiastic but somewhat incompetent sailors embarks on a maritime pursuit. They seek to recover the fowl swept away by fate, as well as glory and wealth. Players will lead their team through diverse islands, navigate complex political disputes, and upgrade their ship along the way until the Royal Chicken is finally found.
A chicken has gone missing, throwing the entire kingdom into uproar. But don't panic—a group of sailors has already taken on the task. They're weighing anchor and setting sail, ready to explore every island in the kingdom to track down the missing bird.
...But honestly, they really need a helping hand.
Some sharp-tongued critics might say your crew is hopeless... Prove them wrong by showing your strength: send everyone to the barracks to train and build their physique, chat at the tavern to boost their charm, or seize sudden opportunities to rapidly improve their skills.
You'll soon discover that each crew member has their own strengths and weaknesses. Putting the right person in the right position is key to success. Even if things go wrong, you can at least minimize the damage.
Don't underestimate these girls. They may not be the smartest or strongest, but they're loyal and each carries their own story. A few even have a shady past... But then again, who can trust rumors?
As the saying goes, many hands make light work. Throughout your journey, you can recruit up to 10 sailors with distinct personalities to aid you in this epic quest (Note: The term "epic" is for promotional purposes only and holds no legal validity).
The Kingdom of Sozik has never been short of minor and major conflicts, but with the Royal Chicken missing, things have descended into total chaos.
Every island explored brings new adventures for your sailors. And every decision you make will shape the future of the kingdom, the fate of your ship, and even what's on the menu for tomorrow's breakfast.
During your journey, you'll encounter four major factions, each with their own ambitions and troubles. Honestly, they're much better prepared than your ragtag crew. You can choose to help them out (even if it means giving your rivals a head start in the search for the chicken), or you can stir up trouble, as long as you're willing to face the consequences.
After all, if stirring up some trouble helps you find the Royal Chicken first, who can blame you? You might even uncover a shocking conspiracy along the way—now that would be a real crisis, far more serious than a missing bird, no matter how precious it is. If any chickens are watching from behind the screen, please bear with us.
The Royal Chicken is Sozik's pride, but the local cartographers have little to be proud of. To this day, no one has produced a decent sea chart, forcing sailors to navigate blindly through unknown waters that are regenerated with every new game.
Plan your route carefully: whether to play it safe by docking for supplies, or to speed ahead to leave competitors behind. But don't push it too far, or you might capsize! Sailing isn't a leisurely cruise, and your sailors' patience has its limits. Keep an eye on everyone's hunger and fatigue, or you might find yourself facing a mutiny.
Fortunately, there's always a way out. For a few coins, the shipwright can upgrade your vessel: making it faster, sturdier, and hopefully resilient enough to withstand all the reckless antics of these ladies.
Explore procedurally generated seas and chart your own course between islands.
Train your crew and assign each sailor to the role where they can best utilize their talents.
Influence the power struggle between four major factions: form alliances, play dirty, or let your every choice decide the outcome.
Upgrade your beloved ship while managing your crew's hunger, fatigue, and various status conditions.
Recover the Royal Chicken and discover what lies beneath the calm surface of the Kingdom of Sozik.
