AdHoc Studio, which made a splash with its indie hit Superhero Dispatch Network, recently quietly updated its official website. At the end of the team introduction page, they left an intriguing message: "more to come."
This update occurred within the past week. The site now features a more detailed dedicated page for Superhero Dispatch Network, including character backgrounds, a retrospective on its development, merchandise information, and more, giving players a comprehensive look at this biggest indie surprise of 2025.
However, the most noteworthy change appeared on the "About" page. After recounting AdHoc's journey, the team first wrote "and that's it for now," followed by the standalone phrase "more to come."
This hint is particularly striking for fans of Superhero Dispatch Network—more than six months have passed since the release of the game's final episode, yet AdHoc has not officially announced production of a second season. Given that Superhero Dispatch Network has become one of the most notable indie games of 2025, players have been eagerly asking about the sequel.
However, this website update cannot yet be considered an official confirmation of Superhero Dispatch Network 2. The phrasing is broad enough that it could also refer to any other future projects from AdHoc.
In fact, AdHoc has at least one known project in the works—a game set in the Critical Role universe, developed in collaboration with the creators of the popular series. Travis Willingham, head of Critical Role, previously stated that AdHoc might prioritize producing Season 2 of Superhero Dispatch Network, but as of now, no specific timeline or confirmation of this plan has been officially announced.
