Pre-downloads for Control: Resonance, the new entry in Remedy Entertainment's Control series, are now available on Xbox Series X and PC. According to currently released data, the installation size on Xbox Series X is 81.4GB, while the PC version reaches 103.18GB. Download size and pre-load information for the PS5 version have not yet been announced.
Control: Resonance shifts the stage from the Oldest House to a supernatural-altered Lower Manhattan. Players take control of Dylan Faden, Jesse Faden's younger brother, who is dispatched by the Federal Bureau of Control (FBC) to investigate a reality-bending cosmic force while searching for his missing sister.
The digital version will launch on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store) on September 24, 2026, with the physical edition following on October 15. A Mac version is planned for release later this year.
The game will be available in Standard and Digital Deluxe editions. The Deluxe edition includes additional content such as an exclusive Aberrant Weapon Form, specialized paranormal ability equipment, a digital artbook, and the soundtrack. Players who pre-order the Digital Deluxe edition on PS5 can enjoy 48 hours of early access, starting September 22.
