Final Week Before Launch: Marvel's Wolverine Ending Leaked in 'Spoiler-Style' Exposure

With only a few weeks left until the official release of the PS5 exclusive blockbuster "Marvel's Wolverine," this year's major title has once again fallen victim to a leak. Recently, numerous gameplay clips have begun circulating online, covering boss battles, unlockable content, and even the final ending, including full playthrough footage. For eagerly awaiting players, this undoubtedly adds pressure to "avoid spoilers" during the final wait.

Featuring Canadian mutant Logan as the protagonist, players will navigate through enhanced versions of the Reavers, Sentinel robots, and the Hand, fighting to protect mutants. Classic characters such as Jean Grey, Sabretooth, Mystique, and Deathstrike will also appear in the story. Unlike the open-world design of Insomniac's previous "Marvel's Spider-Man," "Marvel's Wolverine" adopts a linear level design, more akin to the well-received 2009 title "X-Men Origins: Wolverine."

However, this design adjustment has become a focal point of ongoing criticism from some players. Insomniac employees have publicly stated that negative sentiment on social media often lacks substantive basis, with platform algorithms instead fueling a controversy-driven "clickbait" atmosphere. Meanwhile, recent decisions by parent company Sony have further intensified external resistance to the game.

This is not the first time "Marvel's Wolverine" has faced a security crisis. Back in 2023, the ransomware group Rhysida stole and released a large amount of development materials, casting a shadow over the game's production. Now, video clips nearing completion have leaked again, allegedly from prematurely released retail discs, review copies, or digital channels, but so far, there have been no accompanying ransom demands or monetization efforts.

Although the leaked content has sparked extensive plot speculation, the development team has yet to issue an official response regarding the incident.
