It is reported that Sony Interactive Entertainment and Insomniac Games' upcoming adventure game, Marvel's Wolverine, has been leaked online, but currently, jailbroken PS5 consoles cannot run it.
A player on overseas social media claimed to have access to a leaked version of Marvel's Wolverine. According to them, the file size is 102.5GB, and running the game requires PS5 system firmware version 13.60. Therefore, cracked consoles will not be able to run this game until a jailbreak version compatible with the updated system appears, or a version of the game compatible with earlier already-jailbroken firmware is released.
To prove that they indeed possess the leaked version of Marvel's Wolverine, the user shared a short video showing the game installed on their PS5. The video shows that although Marvel's Wolverine is installed on the PS5, it cannot be launched. Instead of the usual "Play" text, the launch game icon displays "View Product." Whether hackers can port this version to already-jailbroken firmware versions before the official release date remains to be seen.
As for the source of the leak, it could be that retailers broke the release date early, or that several physical copies were stolen.
