Remember how pre-orders for GTA 6 opened sequentially at midnight local time around the world? Rockstar and Take-Two seem poised to arrange the official release of the title in the same way.
GTAVice compiled the store pages for this open-world game on PlayStation Stores around the world and confirmed that the game will indeed unlock at 0:00 local time.
According to GTAVICE, GTA 6 will launch in East Asia at 0:00 local time on November 19. As of press time, there are still 71 days and 15 hours until the game unlocks.
Players in New Zealand will be the first in the world to access the game, while players in Mexico and Central America will have to wait the longest. Of course, players in the United States and Canada aren't spared either; they are only slightly ahead of the last batch of regions in the global release order. This means spoilers could appear soon after launch, although completing the game takes about 80 hours depending on playstyle.
If the Xbox Series X/S version follows the same release schedule, players can get early access to GTA 6 by setting their console region to New Zealand. For PS5, players will need to register a New Zealand account and purchase gift cards to buy the game.
Fortunately, players can start pre-loading the game well in advance, with pre-loading beginning on November 12.
GTA 6 will officially launch on consoles on November 19, and based on current trends, it is likely to become the biggest game of the year.
