The production line draws on the mature manufacturing quality systems of the automotive industry, adapting to the precision assembly requirements of humanoid robots. It establishes a high-precision, highly flexible intelligent manufacturing system, with over 80% automation rate in core processes, laying the hardware foundation for large-scale mass production and rapid expansion of humanoid robots.

Codename IRON, this humanoid robot is the core implementation vehicle of XPeng's Physical AI strategy. Positioned as an advanced general-purpose humanoid robot, it aims to create the next-generation universal humanoid robot platform, adapting to diverse real-world scenarios and achieving self-iterative optimization in real environments.

At the hardware level, the robot features an industry-leading anthropomorphic design, adopting a pioneering fully covered flexible lattice structure. The entire unit has 76 degrees of freedom, with the hands alone possessing 21 degrees of freedom, placing its motion performance among the industry leaders.

In terms of intelligent computing power, the unit is equipped with three Turing AI chips, delivering an effective computing power of up to 2250 TOPS. XPeng's Physical AI large model is deployed on-device, allowing the robot to independently handle complex tasks without remote control.
