Developer and publisher INTI CREATES has announced that Gal Guardians: Demon Purge, the well-received Metroidvania-style action-adventure game already available on multiple platforms, will launch on Switch 2 on January 28, 2027. The game will be optimized and adjusted to take advantage of the console's performance, so stay tuned.
Gal Guardians: Demon Purge is the second installment in the Gal Guardians series, a 2D side-scrolling action-exploration game where you battle demons. Players control two characters with different abilities to explore the demon realm, upgrade weapons, and defeat numerous boss demons ruling over the underworld, all with the goal of restoring their master, Lord Maxin, to power.
