"Sonic: PICO PARK" is confirmed to launch on Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch on November 12. This title brings Sonic series characters into the cooperative puzzle-solving gameplay of "PICO PARK," supporting 2 to 8 players.
Players can control characters such as Sonic, Knuckles, Amy, and Tails, cooperating through levels featuring classic Sonic series elements like rings, loops, and springs. The multiplayer mode supports both local and online play.
This collaboration has been in preparation for several months and was previously available for media试玩 during Summer Game Fest. "Sonic: PICO PARK" is also one of the titles celebrating the 35th anniversary of the "Sonic the Hedgehog" series, with the Sonic Team stating they learned a lot from the independent developers of "PICO PARK."
In addition to the two Switch versions, the game is also planned for release on Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series platforms. The currently announced November 12 release date specifically applies to the Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch versions, with no specific launch dates yet provided for other platforms.
One week after this game's release, "GTA6" is scheduled to launch on November 19; evidence also mentions that the remake of "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" is arranged for a November release. These latter two Switch platform titles will share the same release month as "GTA6," which is not coming to Nintendo hardware.
