A new trailer has been released for the second expansion of Pokopia, confirming the addition of seven new Pokémon. This expansion will not add new areas, with its content focusing on new outfits and accessories for Pokémon from the base game.
This trailer made its debut at Wednesday's Nintendo Direct, showcasing Skitty, Doduo, and Braixen. Since the game includes all evolution forms when adding Pokémon, Dodrio, Delcatty, Fennekin, and Delphox will also be part of this expansion.
Unlike the second expansion, the first expansion, "Bubble Basin," added a new area and approximately 50 new Pokémon. The currently revealed focus of the new expansion is mainly on expanding outfit and accessory content, with no new exploration areas announced by officials yet.
Pokopia is developed by Omega Force, a team under Koei Tecmo, with core staff including the director of Dragon Quest Builders 2. This title is exclusive to Nintendo Switch 2 and was released this March.
Nintendo and The Pokémon Company confirmed last month that the game has sold over 5 million copies since its release. The physical version uses a Game Key Card format, which primarily provides data for downloading the game rather than containing the full game content.
