Co-op Cooking Shooter "Chaos Order" Announced, Supports Up to Four Players

505 Games and INGAME STUDIOS have announced a cooperative cooking shooter titled "Chaos Order." The game supports up to four players and is planned to launch in Early Access on Steam in 2027.

"Chaos Order" combines cooking simulation with first-person shooting. Players need to divide tasks in the kitchen to handle orders, completing steps like chopping, frying, baking, and plating, while fending off enemies invading the restaurant and serving finished dishes to customers.

Kitchen utensils and dishes can also be used in combat. Players can attack enemies with frying pans, throwing knives, and shotguns, and use food to stun, freeze, shrink, or knock back foes. Burnt dishes can serve as bombs, while frozen desserts can immobilize enemies.

Combat doesn't halt restaurant operations. Enemies will rush into the store to ruin completed dishes, while the kitchen faces issues like overflowing pots, bullet-riddled walls, and giant lobsters escaping. The team must continue processing orders amidst the chaos.

The co-op mode allows team members to assign roles and features proximity voice chat. Players can communicate commands based on their positions in the kitchen to handle sudden situations arising from cooking processes and enemy raids.

Different restaurants will feature local cuisines as recipe themes, with kitchens equipped with various traps, hazards, and unexpected events. Players must gradually master new recipes while defending the kitchen and fulfilling incoming orders. The game is confirmed for Steam, with Early Access scheduled to begin in 2027.
